A RUISLIP Townswomen's guild held a coffee morning to raise funds for a charity which helps to improve the lives of carers.

Ruislip Evening Townswomen's Guild raised £250 for Hillingdon Crossroads and will present a cheque to them on Thursday, October 16.

The guild's vice chairman, Mary Nettleton, said: "Some of our guild members who care for their husbands have used Crossroads.

"We like to raise money for a local charity each year.

"About 30 people came to the coffee morning and we were pleased to get over £200."

We'd like to hear from you.
