Inquest into Ruislip Lido suicide man

THE inquest into the death of a man who committed suicide at Ruislip Lido has been heard.

The inquest was opened and closed last Tuesday (31) after a post-mortem was carried out at Uxbridge Mortuary, in Kingston Lane, Hillingon, into the death of 27-year-old Mevin Atchaman.

Mr Atchaman, of Westwood Close, Ruislip, was found by police divers in Ruislip Lido, Reservoir Road, Ruislip, at 10.20am on March 29.

The inquest found he died of drowning on the day his body was discovered by police and his funeral was held on Friday (3).

The police investigation began on March 25 when divers and police officers searched the water and nearby woods after Mr Atchamah's Audi TT was found close to the lido.
