Restaurant offers school children lessons about fruit and veg
A RESTAURANT is offering Ruislip schools the chance to take part in a fun-filled practical session about fruit and vegetables.
Staff at The George Harvester, in Bury Street, Ruislip, will team up with a chef to deliver a two hour lesson about the importance of getting your five-a-day.
It is being offered to a group of up to 30 seven and eight year olds and it will be followed by a complimentary lunch for the children and their teachers.
For more information email schools@harvester.co.uk or visit www.harvester.co.uk.

Nice thought! Continue to pursue your aim. Since I’m on my retiring day, that’s one thing I also want to educate to my grandchildren, the benefit of eating fruits and vegetables.
