New president is elected to Ruislip Chamber of Commerce

A NEW president has been elected for Ruislip Chamber of Commerce (RCC).

The annual general meeting of the RCC was held at Costa Coffee in High Street, Ruislip, on June 13 to discuss how to move forward in the coming year.

The chairman, Tony Ungar, of CS Bedford jewellers, gave a report on the activities of the Chamber throughout the year as well as outlining plans for the coming year.

Ash Nanalal retired as president and Peter White, of NatWest, was elected for the position.
He addressed the meeting and said he would like to see see the Chamber increase its membership by encouraging more businesses in the Ruislip area to join making it a more diverse membership which would be beneficial to all members.

He is also keen to see businesses trading with other businesses to help bring the business community closer together particularly in these present economic times.
