Elderly lady knocked down in Ruislip High Street

RUISLIP High Street was closed for almost three hours after an elderly lady was knocked down by a car.

The emergency services were called to the incident near the junction with Midcroft at 9.45am on Saturday (3).

The woman, believed to be in her 90s, was taken to Hillingdon Hospital in a non life-threatening condition.

The high street was reopened at 12.30pm.
